The Norwegian Darts Federation has the pleasure to invite you to the 22nd Nordic Cup in darts. The tournament will be played at Rica Klubben Hotel in Tønsberg in the Easter 2006. A preliminary schedule looks like this: - Wednesday April 12 Team Manager Meeting + Get-together party - Thursday April 13 Nordic Cup teams (round robin) - Friday April 14 Nordic Cup pairs and singles - Saturday April 15 Stage Finals and Banquet - Sunday April 16 Nordic Cup Open A full team consist of 8 men and 4 women, and both men and women compete in singles, pairs and 4-person team. There is a separate aggregate competition for each of the genders, so it is possible to only come with a men’s or a women's team if any nation prefer that. It is even possible to come with only one 4-man team, but then the nation will have a major drawback in the aggregate competition.
Tønsberg is situated about 2 hours with direct train from Oslo Airport Gardermoen. The nearest airport is however Sandefjord Airport Torp, which also have some international flights from Stockholm and Copenhagen. There is also a ferry from Strömstad in Sweden to Sandefjord about 10 km. from Tønsberg. The price for participating will be approximately EUR 425 per person in a single room and approximately EUR 325 per person in a double room. The price include 4 nights at the hotel with breakfast, lunch and dinner, get-together party on Wednesday, banquet on Saturday and entry fee for the Nordic Cup Open on Sunday.
